Cardiff Council understand that people's circumstances change and you might want to consider moving to a smaller home that better meets your need.

You may want to move to a smaller property but are concerned about making the first step. Cardiff Council can help and will discuss this with you. You could benefit from moving to a smaller property as it might reduce your heating bills. You might want to move to be nearer family and friends or want to live among people of a similar age to you.

Cardiff Council can offer you:

Up to £2000 plus removal costs
Help with packing if required
A worker to help oversee the process and provide help and advice
Ongoing support for up to 6 months
