Vale Housing Federation Questionnaire

The Vale Housing Federation was set up in 1998 to work with tenant groups, forums & panels, disability and scrutiny groups and individual tenants, in partnership with the local Council and four Registered Social Landlords, to have a voice in decision making and policy development to help ensure that their homes and estates are well maintained and the services provided are good quality and value for the money that they pay. Statutory groups also belong to the Federation and raise issues and questions to both landlords and tenants.

The Vale Housing Federation has now commissioned CG Consultancy (CGC) by means of a Tenant Empowerment Grant, to carry out a review of The Federation and to assess what the future is for the Federation given the changing face of Welsh Housing.

The review will be looking to understand the positive and not so positive impact that the Federation has had to date and to assess what all the stakeholders' views are on the future of the Federation. Once evidence has been gathered from all quarters, we will be carrying out an options study looking at all the options available to the Federation for the future and how it can best serve the tenants and its stakeholders in the Vale of Glamorgan.
