Cartrefi Hafod Lettings Agency is a subsidiary of Hafod Housing Association who has over 40 years experience of renting properties and currently manages over 3,500 properties in the social rented sector. Hafod Housing Association is regulated by Welsh Assembly Government and is an established organisation with charitable aims.
After many years of requests to help private landlords we are working with local authorities throughout south Wales, to offer a unique service.
Many tenants do not wish to rent properties from letting agents due to the excessive fee's charged, Cartrefi Lettings do not charge tenant fees as we are looking to provide them with a more affordable option.
Cartrefi Hafod has experienced lettings agency staff with ARLA accreditation (Association of Residential lettings Agents) and working towards NFOPP Accreditation (National Federation of Property Proffesionals). We currently hold Membership with Landlord Accreditation Wales, National Landlords Association, the Deposit Protection Service and Let Safe.
Our aim is to reduce the social housing waiting lists. We would like to offer landlords who are finding it difficult re-letting their properties an alternative option by using the social housing waiting lists. This in turn will benefit landlords with an increased financial return instead of an empty property.
Cartrefi Hafod Lettings Agency has been a huge success in the Rhondda Cynon Taf area, helping people to find the alternative housing to social properties. We are now expanding into areas across south Wales to provide many other prospective tenants with great housing opportunities.
We currently have more than 40 properties available for let and we are taking an average of 4 properties per week from landlords, so it will not take long for prospective tenants to find the ideal property for them.
