Tenant Participation Gets Top Marks
At Hafod we are committed to involving our tenants in the work we do. We have a three-year Tenant Participation Strategy and an annual Tenant Participation Action Plan to help you to have your say about our services.
The Welsh Assembly has asked TPAS Cymru to review every Tenant Participation Strategy in Wales. TPAS Cymru is the professional organisation that gives advice on involving tenants. We are proud to say that the review has awarded Hafod's Strategy and Action Plan a rating of "Good". This is the top score, from a choice of good, satisfactory or weak.
Good Practice
Several of the things we do to involve our tenants were described as examples of Good Practice by the review, including the support we give to tenant groups and training opportunities. However, there were other things that could be improved, including the way we give feedback after consultation events. We will use the results of the review to make the next Strategy and Action Plan even better.
