Tenants Doing It For Themselves
There is nothing more satisfying than hearing that one of our tenant groups has been successful in securing a grant. As Sally Cockerill, our Community Investment Manager explains, 'In the early days a lot of help and advice is giving to our groups by our Community Development Officers to help them access small grants. However, over time our more experienced groups ‘learn the ropes' and are more able to do it themselves. That is exactly what we want to see and all those groups should feel rightly proud of themselves. Of course, securing the money is only the start and delivering the programme safely and meeting the conditions of the grant, also requires time, dedication and expertise!'
Hafod would like to congratulate the following groups on their recent funding successes.
