Tenants Have Their Say
The Tenant Participation Working Group (TPWG) is Hafod's main tenant forum. The TPWG has gone from strength to strength over the last year and makes sure tenants have a say in everything Hafod does.
The TPWG meets every six weeks and discusses issues that really matter to Hafod tenants, like service reviews and changes to benefits. Meetings are held in the boardroom at Hafod's head office and often feature guest speakers. TPWG members have access to a wide range of training opportunities, represent Hafod at national housing events and even planned Hafod's Tenant Conference.
The TPWG set their own agendas and decide on priorities for the tenant participation action plan and budget. Six TPWG members and six key staff members meet quarterly to monitor our tenant participation action plan and make sure tenant involvement is a part of everything Hafod does.
Membership of the TPWG is open to any Hafod tenant and every new member gets a personal invitation from the Chair and Co-ordinator of the group.
