Arts and Crafts at Fir Tree Drive

Members of Fir Tree Community Association and friends and neighbours of the area have enjoyed a 10-week arts and crafts course delivered at the ‘Shed’. The course was delivered in partnership with Merthyr’s Adult Education team.
The attendees enjoyed activities that included glass painting, card production as well as many more. Local tenant, Diane Sheppard explained, “The group is made up of crafters of all ages and abilities, and there is something here for everyone.”
The crafters hope to continue their course for another ten weeks with a view to gaining an accredited qualification upon completion.
