Hafod Connect
Would you like to have your say about the services Hafod provide in a way that suits you?
We want to give everyone the chance to tell us what they think of the way we deliver our services and help us improve your neighbourhoods and homes.
Every year we will carry out reviews of specific services we deliver at Hafod. These reviews are designed to look at:
- what the service aims to deliver
- why we do the things we do
- what can we change to make things better
As part of these reviews we need to know what you think of the services we deliver.
By becoming a member of Hafod Connect you will be sent up to 4 short questionnaires in a year. This is a quick and easy way for you to tell us what you think about a particular service and have a chance to give your comments.
We will always report back to you on the findings of these questionnaires and include how we have taken your comments on board.
THERE ARE A NUMBER OF WAYS YOU CAN RESPOND TO A HAFOD CONNECT QUESTIONNAIRE:
- POSTAL SURVEY: We will send a questionnaire to you in the post with a free post envelope for you to send it back to us.
- TELEPHONE: Respond to a questionnaire over the telephone. If you select this option, we will call you, at a time to suit you, within a week of sending out the paper questionnaire.
- ON LINE: A link to the questionnaire will be placed on the front page of our website and if you give us your email address we can send you a reminder when you will need to complete the questionnaire.
Your involvement doesn't need to end there!
If you feel you want to become involved or comment further there are other opportunities to get involved.
- FOCUS GROUPS: If you have a special interest in an area you may want to come to a meeting to discuss these issues with other people and us at Hafod. We meet in a relaxed atmosphere and can provide transport and refreshments.
- FEEDBACK ON THE PHONE: You may want to elaborate on your comments and make suggestions. If you can't make it to a focus group you can let us know what you think over the phone.
- WRITE TO US: You may want to email us or write us a letter with your comments on the service. We can then use this information to better understand how you feel about the service we deliver.

We hope you will want to comment on all of our services we review. However, the choice is with you and you can just comment on a particular service area if you wish. When you return a questionnaire, you can then tell us whether we can contact you to give further views on this service area.

Would you like to be more involved?
As a member of Hafod Connect, you play an important part in reviewing our services, by having your say in our questionnaires and at our focus groups. But if you'd like to be even more involved in the ongoing development of Hafod's services, there are many other ways to take part, including:
Tenant Assessment Team
Hafod works with three other Housing Associations to train tenants to become Tenant Assessors. You could learn how to interview other tenants over the phone and carry out "mystery shopping" assignments, to help test the other landlords' services.
Maintenance Sub-Group
A group of Hafod tenants meets four times a year with senior members of our Maintenance team, to discuss issues about our responsive repairs and planned maintenance programme.
Disability Focus Groups
If you or someone in your family has a disability, or cares for someone who does, you may like to come along to one of our Disability Focus Groups. The meetings are informal and held four times a year in different locations.
Tenants' & Residents' Associations
You and your neighbours could make a real difference in your community, by forming a Tenants' & Residents' Association. Grant funding is available for community groups to organise local events and act as a vital link between Hafod and your neighbourhood.
