Nursing care

Our nursing care is for people with more acute health care needs, who need assistance with everyday living and are no longer able to cope in their own home. Care is offered by our qualified nursing teams 24 hours a day.

We care for people living with dementia and for those with more complex care needs. This can include caring for people with brain injuries, those who need tube feeding, people with physical disabilities and those with challenging behaviours or distressed reactions.

Our approach to nursing care is based on the use of personalised care plans. Our specially trained team draw up care plans with the individuals we support and their families. These are reviewed regularly to meet changing needs, help ensure that each person we look after is treated with dignity, that their independence and choices are respected and their well-being is maximised.

We also provide palliative care and work in partnership with community health and social care professionals, local organisations such as St David’s Foundation, Macmillan and Marie Curie nurses and local religious leaders.
