We’re holding our very first career and work placement event and would love for you to come along to find out what it’s like to work for us.
The open day follows on from our recent success at our Inspire Butetown event and will take place on Tuesday 26 February between 10am and 2pm at Butetown Pavilion in Cardiff.
There will be information about career opportunities, current vacancies and work placements and our team will be on hand to answer any questions.
As one of the leading providers of housing, support and care in South Wales, we employ over 1,300 colleagues in a wide range of roles. We believe that recruiting dedicated and motivated people is key to delivering excellent services and making lives better for our customers and communities.
Work placements are open to anyone aged 18 and over, and will take place one day a week over a period of six months. There’s a range of placements to choose from including community engagement, IT and building development plus the option to build your own.
There are a number of benefits including role-related training, access to Hafod’s new learning academi, a dedicated mentor and more.
Nigel Williams, Head of Talent and Leadership at Hafod, said: “Our new work placements programme is a fantastic addition to our growing careers offer at Hafod which forms part of our brand new learning academi launched at the end of 2018.
“Placements are a great opportunity for people to gain practical skills and experience in the workplace and I’m looking forward to speaking to those at the open day about what we can offer them on their learning journey.”
