Hafod Christmas Roundup

Posted December 20, 2017

It’s definitely been feeling a lot like Christmas here at Hafod with loads of events taking place across the whole organisation to get us ready for the big day!

This year our nominated charity is the Alzheimer's Society. To raise funds for this cause we've held a Christmas raffle with prizes kindly donated by staff and partner organisations. Two of our senior managers also dressed up as elves for a day. These combined with previous activities have enabled us to raise £2,000 so far which will be match funded by Hafod!

Further donations from our staff have also allowed us to give 45 Christmas wrapped shoe boxes filled with essential items including toiletries, hats, scarfs and more to young people we support in temporary accommodation.

We've kept Santa busy too with multiple visits to our areas including Golau Caredig where he handed out another 45 gifts provided by us to children who take part in our Families Project. He also visited Ty Heulog, Talbot Green to listen to Tonysguboriau Primary School pupils sing to our residents.

Hafod Care have fully embraced the Christmas spirit with many parties, decorating competitions, meals out, fayres and much more!

Finally from all at Hafod we'd like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
