Hafod strengthens its executive team
We are delighted to welcome two new members to our Senior Leadership Team.
Karen Rosser joins us in a new position within Hafod as Executive Director of People and Change. Karen, who has a first class honours BSc in Social Science with Social Policy from the Open University, has an impressive background in the private sector, most recently with Compass PLC as a Director within Human Resources. She also has a vast amount of industry experience including construction, retail, catering and hospitality.
Appointed to the new role of Executive Director of Place, Policy and Stakeholder Engagement; Kath Palmer has over 20 years’ experience in the public sector, including working for South Wales Local Authorities, the Welsh Development Agency and most recently as a Senior Civil Servant with Welsh Government. Her recent roles included being Deputy Director for Housing and Regeneration as well as strengthening services for people with learning disabilities.
Jas Bains, Chief Executive, said: “I am thrilled to welcome, Karen and Kath to the organisation. Their newly-created roles form part of an organisational restructure in a milestone year as we celebrate our 50th anniversary. Their expertise will be an asset to Hafod as we move forward into a period of transformation by aligning our care and housing services together to the benefit of our customers.”
