Procurement

We aim to build collaborative relationships with our supply chain and remove barriers for small to medium sized enterprises (SME’s), including voluntary sector organisations.

We procure a vast range of contracts across all areas of the business, including areas such as:

  • Repairs and maintenance
  • Planned works programmes
  • New builds
  • Consultancy services
  • Supply of goods
  • Information technology

We have a Procurement team in place to lead our procurement and contract management activities, and make our decisions based on a combination of price and quality to ensure we maximise value for money and improve social, enviornmental and cultural outcomes.

Our procurements are governed by our procurement policy and the Procurement Act 2023.

You can find our current contract opportunities by visiting Sell2Wales.

Social value

Social value is about the positive change we create in our communities, beyond bricks and mortar. It’s not just about what we deliver (like homes and services), but how we deliver it, who benefits, and what kind of long-term impact we have.

To help achieve this, we build social value clauses into all our contracts above £25,000. This is a promise from a supplier or contractor to give something extra back to our community, not just deliver the service. This helps us, as a socially responsible business, to ensure that the money we spend has a long-term impact, and our customers and communities benefit.

One of the ways social value supports our communities is through our Community Fund, find out more about our fund here.
