This month, Connect, our monthly e-newsletter, is celebrating its third birthday. To mark the occasion we are running a special birthday giveaway where three tenants can win a £25 voucher.
Over the past three years, Connect has become an important way for tenants to stay informed, involved, and connected with Hafod. This milestone is our way of saying thank you to everyone who has supported it. Whether you have been reading the newsletter, sharing your feedback, or taking part in opportunities, you have helped shape Connect into what it is today.
Over time, Connect has grown into a simple and reliable way to bring information together in one place. It shares news, updates, and opportunities clearly, in an easy to read and helpful way. The aim has always been straightforward, to keep people informed while also giving them a voice. Connect is not just about sharing information; it is about making sure tenants feel heard, included, and part of what is happening.
You said, we’re listening…
As part of the giveway, we asked tenants for their feedback on Connect. One tenant said, “Connect keeps every tenant in the know about ideas, improvements and future. It is informative and leaves no one wondering what is happening and how Hafod are progressing.”
Another shared, “It shows transparency within the association and makes us feel part of the whole, not just a tenant.”
Others have said, “It helps build trust and makes it easier to connect with our area coaches,” and that it is, “easy to use, straight to my inbox – no need to go looking for what I want.”
These comments show that Connect is doing what it set out to do – keeping people informed while helping them feel involved.
Listening to feedback is a key part of how Connect continues to improve. Again, as part of the giveaway, we asked tenants what else they would like to see in Connect or how we can improve it.
Some tenants said they would lmore information about what’s happening in their local area. There were also requests for more wellbeing tips, recipes and practical ideas to try at home. These ideas are valuable and will help shape what Connect looks like going forward, making sure it continues to meet the needs of the people who use it.
As Connect celebrates its third birthday, we are proud of how far it has come, but we are also focused on what comes next. We will continue to listen, learn, and improve every month to make sure Connect stays useful, clear, and meaningful. Thank you to everyone who has supported Connect so far.
