We’re excited to introduce our new Community Caretakers.

They are here to help keep our neighbourhoods clean, safe and welcoming for everyone.

They will be a friendly face around our communities and a point of contact for customers who need support. Although each caretaker will work mainly in their local area, they will work together to support customers across all our communities.

Our Community Caretakers will:

  • Visit communities regularly
  • Community estates visits – checking the work of our contractors
  • Help keep shared areas clean and tidy
  • Pick up litter
  • Make sure bin stores are being used correctly and are fit for the local council to collect
  • Report repairs and safety concerns
  • Help deal with fly-tipping and abandoned vehicles

Their job is to make sure our communities are places where people feel happy, safe and proud to live.

Keeping communities looking their best

Community Caretakers will carry out a range of practical tasks, including assisting tenants in keeping their communal areas safe and clean and clearing bulk waste.

By being out and about in our communities, they will spot problems early and help make sure issues are sorted as quickly as possible.

Putting customers first

Creating the Community Caretaker team is part of Hafod’s commitment to getting the basics right and staying connected with our customers.

You’ll see them working hard to make a positive difference every day, helping to keep our neighbourhoods clean, safe and welcoming for everyone.

Please join us in giving Gareth, Jamie, Jamie and Luke a warm welcome to their new roles.
