What does the survey involve?
The survey will involve a visual inspection of all the key areas and building components in your home. As this is a visual inspection, no items of furniture or any other items need to be moved.
If you have a roof space or attic the surveyor will need to access to this, but don’t worry they will bring their own ladders. As part of the survey, the surveyor may ask you a few questions but the survey shouldn’t take longer than an hour in total.
How do I know if I can trust the surveyors?
All our surveyors will be carrying an identity card with their photograph, which they will show to you on their arrival. If you are in any doubt, do not let them into your home until you have checked their identiy with us by calling 0800 024 8968.
