Our neighbourhood coaches and support teams make a difference in the communities we work in every day.

They support customers to manage their homes and contracts successfully. However, there are times when some people experience financial difficultly and need a little extra help.

To help customers through a difficult time, our teams can support with crisis or rent intervention, or to work more closely to provide additional housing and support coaching.

Between April 2024 and March 2025, customers have accessed nearly £140,000 of financial assistance through our ‘Here for You’ campaign, which includes our Back to School and Christmas Kindness initiatives and has had a huge impact on the lives of a number of our customers.

Take a look at the key highlights:

  • Assisted 128 households in crisis, 91 households with their rent arrears and 134 households utilising our coaching resources.
  • Visited over 30 communities in summer 2024 and piloted D.A.V.E. the van.
  • Supported 391 children from 215 families with school uniform, providing vital financial relief for families.
  • Made over 30 databank applications for digital assistance.
  • Distributed over 170 toys, 30 food hampers and supported 171 adults and 166 children across 177 households, with food, gifts/essentials as part of the Christmas kindness campaign.

One customer who was struggling to buy food and other essentials received support from their income coach, said: “I am so grateful. This is a massive help, I had no idea how I was going to survive until payday, thank you.”

Our ‘Here for You’ campaign was recognised at the recent TPAS Cymru awards for the difference it’s made to customers over the past two years, picking up second place in the Resident Advice and Support category.
