If you’ve got an idea that would make a real difference where you live, or you’re part of a community group doing great work, you can now apply for up to £500 to help your community thrive.
Whether it’s boosting local wellbeing, supporting residents, protecting the planet, or bringing people together, we want to hear from you.
Our Community Fund aims to generate real, lasting benefits for our communities, our customers, our local economy, and our planet. Every pound spent is a chance to create something meaningful.
Our Social Value Steering Group monitors our Fund, helping us choose projects that deliver the biggest benefits while also making sure the process is fair.
Applying to our Community Fund
Hafod tenants, groups, or organisations within 5 miles of a Hafod property can apply to our Fund, and you can apply for up to £500. Applications must benefit a community and are not valid for individual homes.
To be eligible, your project should meet one of these goals:
- Get the basics right: Provide good homes, safe places, and services for everyone. This includes food programmes, educational workshops, and health initiatives.
- Connect with you: Build strong relationships in the community. This can be through events, neighbourhood watch programmes or enhancement projects.
- Invest for a better future: Use funds to create lasting impact in our communities, such as energy-efficient upgrades, community gardens, and communal spaces.
By focusing on these areas, you can help create vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable communities.
Applications close on Tuesday 30 September and funding will be awarded at the beginning of November.
